Each year Halloween gets bigger and better so I thought I'd join the bandwagon and create my own quick and easy makeup look. First of all, I kept all of my base & eyebrow makeup on since i didn't need to alter this. I picked up some black eyeshadow from my Naked 2 palette onto my contour brush, which I half blended into the hollows of my cheeks. I then added an ashy purple which I blended upwards towards my eyes, to create a gradient. At this point I did go over my brows again quickly as I wanted them to be quite bold, for this I used my Dipbrow Pomade in Auburn. After, using a spectrum blending brush I blended Brick and Terracotta from the Sephora Pro Palette in Warm, into my crease just to give a bit more depth. I then used a new spoolie which I dipped into the blood so the majority of the bristles were covered. I found the end of the spoolie was easiest to control and gave quite a good 'splatter' effect. I started by dotting this on my eyelid randomly, making the dots smaller the nearer I was to my eyebrow. I gradually added more to my lid which made the colour become darker and more intense. Once I was happy with my eyelid, I then added some blood to my uder eye to almost create a panda effect by having more intense colour nearer my lashline and gradually becoming less and less. I then went in with my liquid liner and created a long sharp wing, added some Too Faced Better than Sex mascara and put on my false lashes. I added some fake blood above one of my eyebrows with the spoolie, this gives a great effect. I then used the same liquid liner to fill in my lips and overline them slightly. Once it had dried, I added some fake blood to the side of my mouth to really emphasize the blood splattering. And that's it done! The only product I actually had to go out and buy was the fake blood which cost around £2 so it was super affordable. I love this look since I think it looks really effective and only took me 10 minutes to do which is just enough time if you are in a rush. The use of the red & black also means that it can go with any costume as they are really versatile colours.
